Capital K-9 End of Summer Bash

THE END of summer pooch plunge and dog wash is a hoot or rather howl to benefit the Madison Police Department’s Capital K9s, It’s an end of summer hand off from the kids on the south side to any dog with $25 bucks.
Last year’s event was on Sunday, September 8 from 9 am – 4 pm at the Goodman Pool. I twas $15.00 for spectators, $25.00 for a dog swim and $30.00 for a dog swim and wash. No humans in the water which is a lovely turn about for the pups.
The year I went it seemed to be mostly retrievers thinking, “Water water water dogs water water drink  swim treat poop water this existed and you’re now just showing me. Bastard.”
